Welcome to Peg's Place!  You'd probably like to know a little more about who Peg is!

Peg Stookey is a passionate entrepreneur.  She's at her best when she's talking (and more important, listening) to business owners, helping them get connected and thinking of new ideas to solve their problems.  These ideas often turn into programs that can then help many others!  Peg LOVES beginning things-even if they're not her things!  She often considers herself and her companies, Legacy Connection and Peg’s Place, a bridge between a need and a solution.

Peg started Legacy Connection in 2005 after working for a number of years in direct sales and then in franchising.  "Systems" are in her blood so it's not surprising that  Legacy Connection has been called an accelerated success system.  She started the company because she saw that early stage business owners were having trouble moving from their role as employee to entrepreneur as they started and grew their businesses.  Peg found that entrepreneurial development within a community setting is the right combination of learning, support and resources to drive sustainable success.

2010 brought the birth of a new brand: Peg’s Place. As “A Place to Become…” Peg wants to share her stories and insight along with those of the many entrepreneurial souls that she knows (and still has yet to meet!). Her goal is for Peg's Place to be THE place to discuss, learn and share the journey.

In her interviews:

• You will find lessons from franchising and other systems.  Peg feels it's important to model success: copy what you can and then make it your own!  This is not to suggest that you will or should franchise.  It just means that there are many "best practices" found in these systems for you to model.
• You will also find a great deal of philosophy behind what she talks about.  Peg is an avid reader, learner and thinker.  She is constantly looking for the "why" in order to accelerate her and YOUR success!
• Peg frequently mentions her family. She has 3 boys and a daughter, 3 dogs and last but not lease, an adoring husband (LOL!).  She believes in taking an entrepreneurial approach to raising her family and finds many "lessons" to share with business owners as well.
• Peg takes a very broad view of the word entrepreneur and finds it to be more of a mindset than a skill set and occupation.
• Peg is also very transparent and likes to think she wears a "code of armor" (it's a long story but this is a blend of "code of honor" and "coat of armor"-both of which provide protection!  While she's not inviting malice she is very open to constructive criticism and new ideas.  It's what makes us all better!
• Peg invites you to have a voice as well!  To that end, be sure to share your thoughts and knowledge by leaving comments and to pass on posts that have meaning to you!  In this way, we will all be more successful!
• Finally, Peg will attempt to hold you accountable.  She likes to say, "YOUR success is your own, YOU need to own it!".  Be prepared to be challenged---and grow it the process.
